What is UFAD?
Underfloor Air Distribution (UFAD) is an advanced HVAC strategy that delivers conditioned air from a pressurised raised floor plenum directly into the occupied zone, at floor level, close to occupants.
Unlike conventional overhead systems, UFAD delivers cooler, cleaner air where people actually breathe. Hot, contaminated air naturally rises and is exhausted at ceiling level, resulting in superior air quality, dramatically lower energy consumption, and unmatched occupant comfort.
